I had this idea for a little piece of poetry. I wanted to write a really short character portrait. I hope it turned out... readable.


First Impression

You've heard of him:
Jeffrey Reynard!
"The Einstein of Our Era!"
"The Tesla of Our Time!"

The first time I met him
he was whistling;
The Wizard of Oz,
If I Only Had a Brain.

I realized a moment later
that I was grinning.
