Most of the gang took a fun trip to a tropical locale this past winter, and they all stayed in a big, rented beach house right up against the sand. It has become something of an annual tradition, with more people joining in each year, and the place has become something of a madhouse with so many Forest residents packed into one (admittedly quite large) house. It's great fun, though!

Here, though, we see a rather interesting development! Some time back, our intrepid freelance gonzo journalist helped Kurtz and Ms. Afolabi out with a rather sensitive investigation. While that was going on, Gale and Kurtz got acquainted, and an adorable little courtship started up shortly after the issue was taken care of. It seems that they've gotten rather sweet on each other since then, too! Here, our little couple are in the early stages of a new relationship, where everything is exciting and new, and all the little quirks they each have are super endearing to the other. You know, the time when a couple is at its most intolerable to all of their friends. ^_~

Gale and Kurtz are sharing a bench-style swing on the back deck, overlooking the beach. Our badger boy has acquired some large and seriously loaded milkshakes, and is all too happy to share. When Gale laid her head down on his lap, what's a guy to do except spoon-feed her while everybody rolls their eyes? ^_~ Of course, Gale has the seagull super power of rapid consumption, so when he teased her by threatening to pour it directly from the glass, she dared him to follow through. Here, then, are the moments before the massive brain-freeze, all laughter and smiles as Gale gulps down the treat as fast as Kurtz can pour it. He's terribly impressed! He'll be there to laugh and hug her head as she suffers the consequences in a few seconds, too.

I think we just might see more of these two soon!
