After gargoyles were purged from cathedrals across Sirumin, most of them retreated to the frigid north where they wouldn't be bothered by crusaders. They've since become wary of other races and outsides. While she was adopted into their kingdom, Lilith is still treated as an outsider by many. The gargoyle kingdom she resides in is divided in their opinion on her and others like her. Some tolerate them, while others make it known they want her removed from her position and their lands.
She struggles with keeping her chin up. Her parents adore her, but she's not as adored by others. She has a softer personality than the blunt and straightforward people of her land, and her appearance is drastically different. She often feels ostracized to the point she will self isolate by instinct alone. As much as she tries not everyone can or will like her.
