After many hours of tickling, itching, heating, and more tickling, it seemed time to let the prisoner rest. Though morning had not yet come in the north, he would remain in his bondage for sleep, and in interrogation until sunrise.
But before letting him rest for the evening, his various tormentors had one last thing for him. Panther had confided in them that Wolf would punish insubordination and stupidity by making crew smell and lick his feet as humiliation, in exchange for their wages or continued membership in his employ. Now Wolf wears the multiple socks of his guards over his snout. For that little bit extra, some of them rubbed their bared feet onto his face as well before retiring for the night.

Sure, the socks were kinda rough on his canine nose, but at least his feet got a break for a while. At least until it was time to begin again... Best not to think about it too hard, try and get some sleep. Breathe deep Wolf, it might knock you out faster. Breathe deep and rest. Sunrise isn't for another month in this hemisphere.
