Feral Foxwood, unlikely hero and fortuitous owner of the only dragonblood alloy sword known to exist. A highly powerful and coveted item, it seems to be partially sentient and manages to be a constant source of surprise as it zaps people who shouldn't have it, attaches itself to him and refuses to be thrown away, or morphs shape at unexpected moments. Fortunately it also seems to be one step ahead of him and manages to be whatever he needs most at any given instant - a comforting if sometimes slightly unsettling trait.
