Naah... I think the elf should be behind the black dude. Black dude takes a few hits, then the elf dashes in a circle around him and goes SLICETYSLICETYSLICETY and then goes back behind the black dude so he can swing more. Now, if the black dude pulverizes the elf on accident, then it won't be my fault. ^w^
The texture of the paper really brings out a interesting quality in texture that goes well. I'd be interested to see how it looked with a good color rub to smooth out some of the color to make it pop more in certain places. Might be a interesting mix. Great work as always.
Never used water color pencils myself but sounds like something to try out. A little dampness on thicker paper can have some interesting effects though if used right. A box of Prisma colors pencils are not that bad and something to muck around with. Would be interesting to see the results.
