It wasn't clear exactly what events had led you here, but now here you found yourself all the same, directly before a gaping set of predatory, draconic jaws.

The plan had been so simple: reach the western coast while avoiding treading through the territory of the Northern Pine, a place historically unfriendly with outsiders and trespassers. Cutting over the mountains would certainly be more treacherous, you knew all along, but avoiding the forest dragon clans while simultaneously shaving weeks of travel from your journey seemed like a no-brainer. The mountains were uninhabited after all. At least, that's what you had believed until now.

The shattered caravan wagons high up in the cliff faces should have been an immediate, worrisome red flag, but your curiosity quickly got the better of you. Encouraged by intrigue, you venture closer to investigate the wreckage in the stone valley that opened out from the mouth of an enormous cavern.

The brown dragon had hardly looked more than slightly intrigued at your trespass as he emerged from the cavern, his impossible mass causing tremors beneath each casual footfall, stumbling you onto your rump like a series of earthquakes as he closed the distance to you in only a few strides. The beast didn't bother to speak, snatching your form up casually in a hand paw, lifting you to that enormous, boxy muzzle to examine your form, nostrils flaring as he sampled your scent. Despite your babbling attempts to form pleads for the behemoth to give you a moment to explain yourself, the tanky monstrosity seemed entirely disinterested in trading words with you.

Those colossal jaws spread casually, giving you a clear idea of what the beast had in mind for you, and even clearer view of exactly where you were headed.

Really just adore the work done on this piece. The thick teeth, the plump tongue, that gooey, greedy gullet. Ne_sun did an amazing job on my old brown and I couldn't really be any happier.
