Katie walked down the street with Scuddy, heading towards Six Flags: Discovery Kingdom. Today, a new tiger had been saved from his home when it was being burned down and the government decided to save him and the other tigers in their home, sending them to nice zoos and shelters. This Tiger was specifically from a rainforest, and was famous for being extremely nice, caring, cute acting, and of course, being the tiger that was once friends with one of the most legendary cartoon stars ever, Goofy. Katie was especially excited, since she had never been to a Six Flags theme park before and wanted to spend time with Scuddy while there. "This is going to be so much fun, Scuddy! We're finally going to see the tiger!" Katie said as she was skipping down the street with Scuddy to the park. "Heh heh heh. I know, Katie. Calm down. Besides, I kinda know this tiger. Not personally, but my mom does." Katie looked at him. "Really?" "Yeah, my mom went to find this tiger so she could feel how good the tongue felt on her feet. Turns out the tiger had a wife and got double what she wanted." The two giggled at the thought of tigers licking Moon's feet, and kept walking down the sidewalk until they walked through the entrance of the park. "Let's get some drinks first." Scuddy said, and he paid for some sodas from a food stand, getting them their favorite. "Crush? oh right, I like Crush." Katie said as she took a sip from her exclusive Six Flags cup. "So, I got you that Dolphin shirt and those Six Flags shoes last time I came here with my parents. What do you think?" "Oh, I love them! They're so comfy. Thank you, Scuds." she smiled bashfully, making Scuddy blush with affection. They walked over to the Tiger pen, where they saw that it was a kind of tiny island surrounded by a small circular moat and a 12 foot tall circular wall made out of strong glass. "Huh...so cool! I wonder when feeding time is." Katie said, seeing a sign where you would get to feed the tiger. "I don't know. You stay here, I'll go ask and see if someone can help us out." Scuddy said as he walked away. Katie looked into the habitat, not seeing the tiger. "Hmm....I need to get up higher." She made sure no one was looking, and using the skills she used in soccer, she jumped onto the top of the glass wall, and she sat on the edge. "Really? Still no sign of th---whoa!" She suddenly slipped into the habitat when a gust of wind pushed her in.
She was about to hit the water when suddenly something caught her by the back of her shirt. She looked back and saw the Tiger had caught her with his mouth. "Whew....thanks Mr. Tiger." The Tiger nodded and set her on the island with him, and she dusted herself off, but noticed her shoes and socks were dripping wet. "Aw great! Scuddy gave these to me. How did I not notice they were wet? Oh well, might as well wait for Scuddy to come back." Katie sat on a nearby rock and slipped her shoes off. She wiggled her wet socked feet in the air to dry them out a bit, a dirty indentation of her feet on both her socks still. The smell of the smelly shoes, wet socks, and feet reached the Tiger's nose as it was chewing on a bone, and it sniffed the air, and turned to Katie. Katie slipped her socks off, using a bit of force since they were stuck on there from the water. she smiled as she set her wet socks on another rock in the sun so they could dry, and she laid on the grass, putting one foot over the other, relaxing. The Tiger sneaked up to Katie's feet when she was relaxing in the sun, and he sniffed her rather large sized feet. The smell was definitely stinky, since it was a long walk to the park, but the Tiger relished on that kind of smell. Katie felt the sniffing, and giggled cutely, sitting up to see what the Tiger was doing. "Silly Tiger." she said, wiggling her toes. The Tiger kept sniffing her sweaty and smelly feet for a while, until his stomach growled, and he wanted a taste. The tiger stood on his hind legs, kinda like how a dog sits when begging, and he grabbed her ankles, lifting her up in the air, holding her upside down as he licked his lips. Katie giggled, squealing a bit at the part she knew was coming up. "P-Please not so rough, Mr. Tiger. My feet are so ticklish." Katie said as she wiggled her toes in anticipation and playful fear. The Tiger then took a big lick of her left sole, his rough and scratchy tongue causing Katie to start laughing uncontrollably, causing a crowd to look into the habitat, some laughing, some aweing, and some taking pictures as Katie was getting her feet licked by the nicest Tiger in the world. Scuddy walked over to see what was going on, and he chuckled when he saw his girlfriend in there. "Tried to get a closer look, eh?" Scuddy yelled to her. "Yehehehehehehehehes!" she said as the tiger did some little licks to her toes. A local anthro pig looked down at Scuddy. "That Tiger sure is digging in." "Hey, I don't blame him. My girlfriend is known for having reeeally stinky feet." Scuddy said with a cheeky grin. "*sniff sniff* Wow! No kiddin'. I came smell her feet from way over here." the pig said. Scuddy looked back at Katie. "Well, you spend some time in there to think about what you did. I'll grab us some snacks." He walked away, leaving Katie to her torture. "Nohohohohoho! Scuhuhuhuhuhuddy! Come bahahahahahahack!" she yelled as the tiger started nibbling all over her feet, getting some licks in as well. "Don't worry, we still have all day! There's lots of stuff we can do here together!" Scuddy shouted as he grabbed some burgers from a Johnny Rocket's close by, calling someone on his phone. "Hey mom......yeah, we made it here just fine. Hey, you remember that tiger you met in the woods that licked your feet?......well, I just found him.

Not bad. I should probably point out something I immediately noticed with the picture though:

Katie's pose is at good as well as the story, but I think you should work on not repeating the same exact look and pose of the tiger to get a better feel of things. It comes off as kinda lazy in my personal opinion, no offense.

You gotta leave your comfort zone every now and then if you want your art to reach its full potential. People can only enjoy the same thing for so long before it gets boring for them.
It's best to do that rather then essentially trace the same poses over and over again because then people wouldn't enjoy it as much and it would stagnate your growth as an artist

Aint saying it sucks, just saying it's better to try things a little different, show one's full potential, is all. Like, if for example I did the same foot pose with my fox for every pic, it would get boring fast. I'm just giving fair criticism, no one's perfect after all.
There's a difference between iconic and repetitive. You can recreate iconic poses sure, but if you just did it over and over with no unique spin to it, just the same thing with no change, that gets repetitive. I just think it'd feel more organic to sorta take advantage of the scenario rather than Goofy just got edited out in favor of Katie, y'know?
I'm not asking you to agree with me, I'm just asking you to at least understand where I'm coming from.

Eh, whatever then. Sorry if my personal opinion came off as calling the art crap, because I wasn't trying to say it was. Just saying a lot more potential was present and I feel Darien could've done something really cool if he challenged himself a little bit more imo.
Anyway, I wish the best that Darien continues to improve overall and at least take my advice into account. Constructive criticism is always valid at the end of the day, and I'm only just trying to be friendly and egg people on to sorta find their proper footing with their style and whatnot.
No pun was intended there.

Thanks, but I think I'll choose to word my opinion however I want it to be. I don't believe I was being rude or offensive with how I gave my criticism, so I don't see a reason to change how I give my opinion. I'm as civil and respectable as I can be all the time. :v
Overexplaining? I feel like my critiques are pretty small compared to the norm. Have you seen the in-depth critiques on some dA artpieces? Those could pass up as essays :v
Look, I personally don't see any need to keep this going, as I fear that some sort of argument could break out should we continue. I know you're Darien's friend and all, but I don't think he should be void of any form of criticism. If you like it, cool, but don't act as defense if somone has a differing opinion, especially when it wasn't even coming off as mean spirited lol
Anyway, thank you.
