Bio: Narir is a loud, obnoxious, confident and eccentric Phione. He’s rather small, as expected from his species, but has a body built for so much more. He’s always at the Sonnige City fitness gym, wanting to keep his body in tip top shape.

He’s definitely the weirdest of the group, shouting a lot and talking highly of himself. If put in the right circumstances however he can be a nicer person, but still having a hint of superiority. Narir is energetic of course, always flailing his arms around when talking to others or getting up in your face. He can be quite expressive.

He loves attention, wishing to be praised for his skills and dashing good looks. His friends however joke about him a lot and tend to make him annoyed. It’s all fun and games though.

Narir is in a small group of friends including Lorenzo, Mila and himself- later a Shaymin named Blaine would also end up hanging out with them. They all go to the gym together to exercise and chat. Narir particularly has a thing for Mila- it could be the sheer size difference between them. It’s the one time he’ll put up with being teased by someone.

His most unique body parts are his fins. His head fin can be used as a whip, and floats just off the ground in a wavy motion. He swings his head to throw the fin out and grab onto things, or just hit other pokemon. He uses his head fin’s abilities to help climb and scale vertical heights. He’s almost as elegant as a gymnast, doing flips and spins as he throws himself upward!
The two fins on his arms are... kind of impractical, but he thinks they look cool. That’s something at least... no one knows if they help him swim faster because he doesn’t like being in the water- strange indeed!
He also has a very large butt for whatever reason- his friends joke about it being his ‘floatation device’. In saying that, he takes care of his body as a whole, and has accepted to love his literal bubble butt.

Narir's tongue and insides are blue, not pink and fleshy red!

The beads on the base of his head fin clip on from the side, so they’re easy to remove. He really likes the colour yellow.

Narir absolutely hates the water and being in it- despite being a naturally good swimmer he hasn’t swam for a long, long time. He ended up preferring land sports, finding the thrill of them more exciting. He’d eventually take up rock climbing as his profession, trying to scale walls as fast as he could. Safety isn’t something he worries about... He’s good at many other sports too and is very competitive.

Story:
His background is a bit of a mystery, as he doesn’t talk about it much. He came from the sea closest to Unova, originally living in a warm coral sea with other water types. It wasn’t just coral and sand, but buildings under the sea and architecture you wouldn’t believe. His home is quite similar to the Zora tribe, but with more marble and a Greek aesthetic.

He remained in the citadel for most of his childhood, but once he ascended the depths and breathed fresh air for the first time, he was hooked. He’d be one of the few Phione’s in his home that preferred to be on land. He loved the feeling of the warm sun on his skin, the dry sand and the gentle breeze.

His constant ventures to the surface would later lead him to explore the island around him. Meeting other land dwelling pokemon and towns, he suddenly got to experience a lot of new, exciting things.

With the help of a dear friend, he’d learn to use technology and would further expand his mind with what the world had been hiding from him this whole time. He’d also take great interest in sports, playing football (Soccer for you americanos) with other mons.

After a few years of life on the surface, he grew bored of the tiny island, and sought somewhere new to move, with new experiences for him. Word of mouth spread about a tropical island paradise that only pokemon could visit. He’d ask and learn more, and decide he needed to see it for himself.

Later he moves out to Luani island, saying goodbye to everyone on the surface and below. As he swam for Luani island, he started to realize how much he disliked the sea, as pretty as it could be. He’d eventually make it to the tropical island, living in a different side of the island before later moving to Sonnige city.

Relationships:
Narir is quite hard to get along with. He’s got two small groups of friends he spends most of his time with.

. The main group of boys, Lar, Lorenzo, Chiyer and Fwolo. He gets along with all of them pretty well, minus Chiyer. He feels the happiest around Lar and Lorenzo. He’s been buds with Fwolo for the longest time however and shows interest in Fwolo’s arts and hobbies.

. His exercise group of friends are his best buddies. This involves Mila and Lorenzo, and later on Blaine. He’s super into Mila, and the two are pretty close.

. Solea seems to like him a lot- if only for his green gems. However the two end up flirting a lot with each other.

. Narir gets along with the Gengar duo, Minoir and Vexa. While he wishes to spend time with both, Minoir steals his attention away most of the time. He finds their pranks hilarious!

. Crescere and Narir butt heads a lot, either in a serious manner or more toned down ‘lets cause a scene together’ kind of way! You’ll see these two together a fair bit.

. Him and Darkria like to have fun- nuff said~

. He sees Sharna as a rival- or deeply wishes he was her rival. He’ll try to get into fights with her, but for some reason she finds him cute and doesn’t fight him- weird!

. Karina and Narir and pretty good friends, despite the fact that the two spending most of their time with other groups. Karina will drag him off to play video games.

. Grumpmin aka Marieth hangs around with him a lot, mostly due to the fact they’re the same size. A cute couple am I right?

. He has a thing for Risa the Toxapex, and she likes him too...

Narir is here! Hey that sorta rhymes-
I was gonna post this sooner but then decided to double back and redo his back shot and add in the arm ref.
There's not a lot to his design that needs soooo much detail and renders honestly. He's pretty simple!

Fun fact Narir WAS gonna be a girl but I needed more bois and friends for Lar so YEA.
I love him tho he's a cocky boi
