Art imitates life...again!

I just got done baking a sour cream pound cake (yum!) and used Mom's old "Bundt" cake pan. The teflon was horribly scratched inside and no amount of greasing the pan with butter kept the cake from adhering to the pan. It came out in pieces, but I'm good at jigsaw puzzles! Add the sour cream frosting and you never knew what happened! (Bought a new pan the next day)

Very funny but why the middle picture is only in color ? Did you do that for the dramatic effect ?

Yeah, I hate when that happens, though its a shame to let a cake go to waste even if it looks bad. I've been using butter and then dusting the pan with flour lately, seems to keep the cake or brownies from sticking on pans that don't even have teflon.

I have the same issue XD It always sticks to the pan and looks horrid. no matter how much i scrub the pan or clean it out.. or even 'let it cool for 19 minutes' thing. It's the pan.

BWP, it's okay. The majority of the cake was saved, and a little frosting hid the mistake. But it's SOOOO good! DOUBLE YUMMY!
