hmmm... okay i looked around for a few things since you were insistent... it is not going to happen, not by me at least.

i mean... i get why you thought it was a good fit.

But... it is a bit contrary to the themes of Philomela.

Zephyr is the closest one in looks (see above) so i get why you would think it to be an easy mod...

But, like, get this body and this helmet if you want to feel like you are playing her.

Let me go to a tangent, so i can explain why her looks are inherently bad and why she changed herself drastically when she gets given an option in-story.

The whole point of Philomela's story is about mental illness and the mess it produces, which is ugly and there is no clear and easy answer.

Her whole appearance stems from the fact that she *has been idealized by her creator*... and that is extremely bad. Like: the worst thing.

But basically even when roleplaying in D&D i roleplay her as... quite different from her looks. And that is *because* of the idealization problem and the mess it produces.

She looks angelic and nice, but that is *by design of her in-world creator*. She had no part, no choice and no agency, in deciding her looks, which are fixed in her metal frame.

So: the nature of Philomela is multiple and open to interpretation.

On one side: her looks. She looks good, enticing even, which is why her creator gives her... "sexual" "organs" at one point in the story. Her creator, in his idealization, ends up falling prey for lust of an (otherwise still innocent) character. The creator being an idealizer cannot join the fact that she "should be pure" with the fact he has just given her what basically amount to a mechanical vagina. Which, in the mind of her creator, is "dirtying" her.

This ends up setting on fire the house where he lives. The work he did, everything, he even ends up sacrificing his hands which get deeply hurt on the scalding hot metal frame just out of the fire to "hide" his creation from the incoming firemen.

In this version Philomela is a "thing" to praise or be ashamed of. Completely without agency, completely without choice. One single path is in front of her.

On the other side: the "real" Philomela. At the start of the story Philomela is just a mechanical thing, reacting because she has no knowledge, as the story progresses, she gets killed twice before reacting with unusual violence and killing somebody, redefining herself as a "demon". At that point she is still so "dead set" in the idealization she has been the victim of that she is unable to see herself in any other way... so even when she rebuilds her body from scratch she goes for a flashy and sexy demon thing.

In this version Philomela is still a "thing" to praise or be ashamed of. Completely without agency, completely without choice. One single path is in front of her. The only difference is that in this version the path is of her choice... and out of "child-like rebellion". Basically, she is still the same thing as before, except now it is her """choice""". The quotations here to make as explicit as possible that she only deluded herself in thinking she had any choice in the matter. But she chose nothing. She just messed up an already messy situation.

Which is why i often ask or do "silly" art, to ground her further away from the stupid idealization which i [u]deeply hate[/u] and that she is a victim of.

• Cool feature? Yeah, looks cool, but it's impractical.

- The transforming legs are a problem as she would carefully have to measure each of her steps. She can't run or dash. She has those high heels which would transform her legs into the avian config if they do not land properly on the floor, so she is more like a lumbering giant than an agile and speedy "goddess thing".

- Can she walk with her legs extended? She ... probably looks like a fumbling mess, that's when her suspensions are fully operational and are not just dampening her steps, sooo she would be "boing-ing" with every step and losing control of her body pretty fast. - She takes about 1 hour to wind up for 1 minute of operation at most, due to her ridiculously high speed internal clock needed to make her fly and to make her talk and to allow her to move... or even just to allow her to see and think.
- Can she wind herself up? Of course she cannot!
- Can she dance? Yeah, if you do not mind the grooves that those high heels supporting 500 kg of machinery are going to carve in your floors.
- Can she fly? More like high and long jumps. And she cannot really control herself in mid-flight as she lacks any wing adjustment systems that would allow her to steer. She's basically a big chicken in that respect.
- Can she have sex? Not sure if i want to put something ridiculous as a document shredder in her mouth, but i did toy with the idea that her "tongue" would be "a lemon squeezer" or something. Her knockers are shaped solid steel, they cannot feel, and they would feel very unpleasant. She cannot even lay properly on a bed due to her wings and how they would need to extend to flatten themselves and her tail. All this just to hammer in the fact that it's the usual ridiculous mess that looks good and has a ton of functions that look cool but that would make her a rather uncomfortable/unpleasant sexual partner if you think about it (unless you are into masochism or really awkward stuff).

Sooo why treat her this badly?

She is a ridiculous thing whenever she is not "posed to look good".

I mean... look at the picture above here. That is the same model you see up here... and that is because she basically has a "barrel belly" like that of Futurama's Bender so that it could contain inside of it her brain and everything that allows her to think and function.

And her creator made her primarily to look good and having "useful functions" without thinking of the consequences that those looks would have in her "real" life. I am thinking of making a comic about the mess that her life is... post part 3 of "Tithe For The Moon Children'

What i am saying is...

You can make your own "fantasy version" with the builder here https://www.furaffinity.net/view/31618976/ which i provided *explicitly* so that people can have fun with characters that are similar to her... without them being my character.

If you want a more zephir-like version... sure... but i feel like it would be missing the point.

Even the D&D version i am playing... is a thing that is fraught with doubts, slow, hulking and heavy, with low armor, a ton of hit points and high charisma, but average intelligence and wisdom, and untrained "charisma skills". Which means she can spells... but is basically paranoid and... honestly? Behaves like a commander, ordering people around despite, in most cases, never truly knowing anything, and that is because that feels like what she would be like if she were a person damaged by such an upbringing and construction.

Sooo... You are asking me if she would look good as a dashing character built for speed, long range combat, scouting, and slamming down onto people from on high?
Yyyyeah, kind of.
She can do all those things.
I can imagine a version where the heel mechanism has been removed and she can conceivably dash and everything...
But... fact is... it would be completely out of character.
Because if that were Philomela... she would not look cool and agile while doing all that.
She would conceivably be a fumbling mess, succeeding more by chance than by planning, fraught with self-doubt, putting on a façade that cannot avoid but feel ugly, because she has to convince herself that she can do it, since everybody looks at her.
And such a character would be "a joke" to play in warframe, because that is a game where you shoot other people for fun, so putting in a character like this would be antithetic to the whole game concept.

That said:
• The developers would object to her having a face, as eyes and obvious facial features are forbidden by the Tennogen rules.
• She is hard clockwork, whereas warframes are this squishy bendy "metal" thing which i have no clue what it should be...
• ...but my guess is... it's just a technocyte infested human that is "groomed" to a specific look by the operator...
• ...and mind-controlled by the same operator via some remote controlling device implanted somewhere.
which yes... put like that it would fit into the themes of Philomela, but not in the way i chose... so make your own...

So her looks are completely antithetic to the base looks of Warframes, i gave you above one way to make her... do as you wish.
