"We put you
as our weapon
as the blade we use to cut"
To embrace the Dogma is to seize control over the very base of reality itself. It is to speak all the tongues there ever were and will be at once. It is to become one with singularity.
The Dogma is an abstract metaphysical concept, yet also much alike to an object of great power, grasped and understood only by the entities beyond the fickle limitations of this world residing in the unclaimed spaces between everything and nothing.
As such, once the ones who would become the New Gods shed their very physical boundaries in total annihilation, the Dogma became the revered cornerstone of their control over the universe they would usurp from its creator - the First God, the forces of the universe embedded into the fabric of reality itself given ineffable flesh and bone.
Even as a non-physical concept, akin to a mere thought too gargantuan to grasp, it a is wielded like a blade by the New Gods, rending their foes through the servient hand of their Swords.
And thus, all Swords enforce the timeless and transcendent will of New Gods, who are silently writhing beyond the borders of this world, through their Dogma Blade bestowed upon them, in infinite symbolistic ritual.

It makes me extremely happy you got that visual going on in your head while listening to the music and taking in the vibe of this piece, always glad to hear I can inspire people.
You also hit the nail on the head with the visual you imagined there, she's got some sick moves going on when facing off against the right foes, haha.

Yeah, but that also hasn't gotten much art anyways in a while, so I'd say it's been on hiatus for at least a year anyways. It's just been taken through a few different forms with no clear goal in mind in the past, and if I had to tackle it currently, I'd need to seriously get a grip first to bring across the mood and so forth.
For now, Sanctum being the most "me" thing I could do as of now is just a lot of fun to flesh out.

Thanks!
I don't disagree with your remark, the pose with the side view and some other things obscure showing off a more feminine bodyshape and all that stuff. She's generally more androgynous though as a robot, so I didn't worry too much about it once I made the lineart.

I love it!! Love the armor design and the setting with the fire and dark dead woods! Plus, the floating blade is always cool!
The pendant on the hilt is a nice touch. It's a simple thing that doesn't seem to match the rest of the design. It looks like someone put it there with a different meaning than the sword itself, which makes me think that, even if the Sword herself is a robot created by some eldritch force as a sort of terminator-like executioner, she still has her own character and thoughts, and she's not simply a cold machine.

Thank you so much!
You also hit the nail on the head with that interpretation, it always fills me with joy there's people like you who care about the small details of this setting like this. I didn't get much into it yet because of artistic shortcomings in showing it, but as she's also got the duty to protect the world of mortals from interference with higher powers, she does truly care about them and her overall stern personality comes from a strong sense of honor and protection. So the charm is a small symbol of her not forgetting who she is also fighting for, because she couldn't do that properly if she didn't feel for them.
