Sorry for taking so long, whoever you might be! Also, the chapter might have rather odd rhythm. There was quite a long pause between the first and the second half of this chapter due to a writer's block.


1) In karofkan culture, there are certain traditions. One of them is studying transmutatio magicks, at which karofka are often seen to be quite good at naturally. So, despite the freedom the twins got, the couldn't study the type of magick held at the highest stool in their culture.

2) Evocation is often seen as the opposite of alteration.
Evocative magick energy is used in offence (where in alterative energy is used in defense). Evoker may create actual objects (mainly weapons) from the energy, or simply use the energy itself to cause damage.
