Its going to sound really dumb given my age but, yeah I never did

Then how did you keep in contact with your friends, family and folks who commission you for work o.o and dont tell me your the type of person who keep books of road maps in your home as well?

through my computer, I had a phone before, just not a smart phone, it was an alcatel. and for maps I had a gps in the car

well all i an tell you, depending of the phone company you use, your phone will become a useful gadget in your daily life! tho i strongly recomend on looking on how to make your phone battery last longer roly. like here an example if you all ready doing this. turn it off and let it charge when you sleep for the night.

ye I usually do that! I dont use my phone much tbh, mostly when either im away from home or my wife is, and a little bit before waking up and before going to bed, already deleted plenty of bloatware apps from the thing

hehee... kinda me anytime someone hands me one. I been carrying a regular old flip phone since 2004 and fine with it. Got a laptop and a desktop for anything else, and last few years I rarely even leave my home anyway. I never felt like I'm missing out not being readily available to anyone instantly all times of the day (especially employers.... well, back when I had a job.... Fuck'em, nobody owns me or my time). I'd rather spend any "extra" money I got (yeah, thats a fallacy in and of itself, heh) on a fat bag of weed than a data plan anyway.

Well that's easy. Just install the Twitter app, hate your life, and direct it in the form of obsessive outrage towards people who don't quite think like you.
