A personal story about Selene and Lucien, a pair of characters based on the world of The Seven Deadly Sins (a Manga/Anime series).

Brief overview of chapter one - (Spoilers of the plot)

After escaping the ruffians Lucien and Selene stop at the bank of a pond within the forest.
Lucien questions as to why the humans were chasing her, to which she replies that they were planning on taking her wings.
Lucien wonders why they would do that and Selene explains that humans are greedy, in her eyes, and that is why they constantly take what they do not need.
Selene leaves Lucien to go and find something to eat while he rests on the sandy pond edge.
Alone, Lucien takes a moment to think about the situation, thinking about the motivations of humans.
Selene, having flown through the trees for a while, happens upon a glut of berries.
