Not much is known of his past, from all he could remember, he was sold as a slave by unloving parents. Was it to gain money? Was it because of his mutations? Or did they simply not want a child, he may never know. Shizame would not spend much time there as he was rescued by a couple after hearing a mutated child was being sold out in an auction.
Aya and Zyl, ex Sorkon troops who wanted to atone from their sins by saving lives, adopted every mutated child they could find, raise them to be able to defend themselves for the harsh life that awaits them. When Aya told Shizame how they saved him, he wanted to take down the crime lord responsible for slavery all across the land.
His plan failed and he was once again nothing by a piece of meat to sell as an auction. He would fight in an arena against creatures to entertain potential clients, he was bought by none other than Sini the brother of Yael, the head of all criminal activities and his main target.
Sini saw potential in the nevrean, even offered a fair deal, He could roam and do as he pleases around the world, but when he was needed he could not refuse otherwise he would tell Yael about it and it wouldnt take long before he was dragged as a slave once more.
As a way to remind Shizame of his duty, and to make sure no slaver would try capturing him again, Sini asked that he would wear a collar all the times.
When he isnt working for Sini, Shizame is a mercenary earning money doing contracts, mainly to kill a beast. He uses tools to aid him weaken the beast, his main weapon is his sword but he sometime uses a spear depending of the creature.
Due to his dark colors and lack of wings, he is often mistaken for a female, He knows not if he was born without wings or the slavers clip them off when he was a baby, but he doesnt really miss them. They wouldnt get in his way during combat anyway.
Personality wise, Shizame acts serious and cold to most people , but has a softer side that cracks jokes and takes things less seriously. His reasons to keep a serious act is because he wishes to be taken seriously and to be out of the norm of typical male Nevreans cliches .
