Brief overview of chapter two - (Spoilers of the plot)

After gathering food, Selene returns to Lucien by the pond. He doesn't waste much time in devouring the feast Selene had bought for him. Whilst he enjoys eating Selene starts to think about where the two should go after their confrontation with humans.
Selene, not wanting to tear Lucien away from yet another home, proposes the two of them travel to her homeland - the Fairy Kings' Forest.
It would take many months of travel, accounting to Luciens' lack of flight, but Selene is sure that within her birth place they can finally find safety.
She allows Lucien to sleep on the decision.
