Another illustration for the "Stellar Horizon's" vehicle guide!
This is the Zephyr Executive VTOL. The design was of course influenced by the whole "Lear Jet" look and the jet VTOL experiments by Bell and Dornier aircraft.
I wanted the scene to have that sexy 1980's "Exec-Glam" feel...a cool, expensive craft crusing over a SoCal-esque cityscape at sunset. That look was common in the ad work of the 1980's...and G-d help me I miss that age!
