This song
has had SUCH a long time coming, holy shit.
Literally six years,

I feel like with that original track, I was working on the "remix" before the original song,
and this,
this is it, this is Onion Forest~
You have no idea how happy i was to finally make something out of this song,
and to just... well
MAKE THE SONG
AUGH
A track I've had stuck in my head for years.
The inspiration behind this was very much like the story for the Tempura Sharks of Oil Ocean.
When I was a cook in the Navy, we used to have these BIG ASS onions,
and we would get A LOT of them. And the way we would stow them in the galley was by keep them in a rack where we would have access to them whenever.
Well, apparently we would keep some of them for a little too long.
An onion is the plant itself, so instead of rotting, it would just sprout and grow.
Well, like I said, there were a LOT of these onions, and A LOT of them would sprout at once,
so when you'd look at them, it was like a forest.
It's not too interesting, but you don't have much to entertain yourself with in the Navy, so, much like the Tempura sharks, I loosely came up with this environment of giant onions, with stalks that just rose up for miles.
Probably on the same planet too.
