here's something a bit different. I was in the middle of making a Dark Souls-themed armor set when I got invited to my first D&D game, so I decided to turn him into my first character.

Background:

Dullon was a well-respected member of a mercenary's guild for most of his life. But he messed up, a splinter organization used his failure to tip off the feds, and his guild was almost completely destroyed. He spent several years wandering with no goal, slowly getting weaker both in body and mind, until one day he came across an odd bunch of adventurers. Now he seeks to regain his lost power and to restore his line of work.

During his glory days, Dullon was a feared eldritch knight, who could cast a myriad of sorceries from his maulstaff. These powers have long since faded, but perhaps -- with enough practice -- he can become his old self again.
