There's Blender too.
But if you want to start animating, I HIGHLY suggest you to learn Blender and not SFM. Maybe learn to port from SFM to Blender, but don't bother SFM
Reason is, SFM is outdated and isn't receiving anymore update. It's also limited in many ways and problem which are dumb. It may be easy to learn, but Blender is clearly more advanced, and if you learn Blender directly at the start, you will already have a great software in the hand.
