Here is a little game-over interpretation I've had in my mind for a while. Following the events of Shen-zin Su, the Pandarens were unsurprisingly outmatched. The saurok tribes claimed a great portion of Pandaria. Treated like trophies, the sauroks took Aysa Cloudsinger for some intensive meditation practices.
