Here the full game description of the Divisionl playoffs game of Texas vs Miami:
Miami takes an early lead in the game, assisted by a 36 yard reception by Dyana Cobalt that got the Tropics into the red zone. After Texas was held to their second three and out of the game, Travis Westmore had a beauty of the punt, pinning Miami at their own one yard line. On first down, Lezra Astrah dropped back to pass. Defensive end Brad Fitzpatrick managed to get around the line and sack him for a safety, putting the Ramblers on the board. They’d follow it up with a field goal to draw within two.
Westmore wouldn’t do so hot to open the second quarter, delivering a short punt that let Miami start a drive already in Ramblers territory. Their defense managed a big stop, however, holding them to a field goal and keeping it a one score game. From there, however, the game dissolved into a series of punts and near misses. The biggest of which was an interception thrown by Andrew Calder in Miami territory that spoiled their best chance to take the lead. At the half, the score is Miami 10, Texas 5
Miami received the second half kickoff, and managed to convert it into a field goal to take an eight point lead. They’d lose starting guard Johnathan McGuire to a pulled hamstring, however. Astrah would spend the next couple series getting beaten up, taking two sacks and being pressured almost constantly. About halfway through the quarter, the Tropics would punt from their own 29 yard line. Jackie Knight took it up the right side, broke a tackle, stiff-armed punter Michael Campari out of the way, and ran it in 63 yards to the house. They’d go for two to tie it, but Calder’s pass would be dropped.
Miami would bounce back pretty quickly, and would soon be looking at first and goal. The Ramblers defense was up to the task, however, keeping them out of the end zone and forcing another field goal. Miami would also lose another starting offensive linesfur, this time Rod Lackey. The starling should be okay to return, but his absence was keenly felt at the goal line. Halfway through the fourth quarter, a short Campari punt was made even worse by a terrible facemask call against Alexander Gamble on first down. Replays clearly showed him grabbing by the shoulder and not the head, but the penalty moved the Ramblers into Miami territory, and a few minutes later Jackie Knight would have her second touchdown of the game to give Texas its first lead. This time, their two-point conversion was successful. Miami needed at least a field goal to tie the game back up, and ended up facing fourth down and 2 from midfield with four and a half minutes on the clock. Instead of going for it, the Tropics elected to punt. One fifty yard bomb from Calder to Knight showed why that was a bad idea. Third-down back Hyram Conklin punched it in for a one-yard score with 18 seconds remaining to complete the comeback and send Texas to its second consecutive conference championship game.
Final score 26-16
