Fun piece of trivia behind decision for shark character: I thought it would be fun to make a dinosaur character while keeping my theme of characters being animals that live/lived in the US state of Florida. So I looked up what dinosaurs lived where Florida is now. Turns out, most of Florida was underwater while the dinosaurs were around. Therefore, shark.
