In the interest of building skills and filling my gallery, I decided to work on a series of character concept art pieces. I have a list of potential species, decide on some career or activity that seems appropriate or interesting for the particular species, and add a few other features to help make the final design more interesting. These pictures are not intended to be of recurring characters in future art pieces, but some may if I like them enough.

On my list of species was the iguana. A couple months ago, some nearby weather forecasters issued a ‘falling iguana alert’ due to cold temperatures. This led me to imagine an iguana that was skydiving.
