I had this fun idea of a younger REPTILE... way less serious, more playful, light headed and a bit silly.

But to be honest I've seen some versions with a large "cut out" behind... so it is possible! I suppose there are some strings or something like that... going above and below the tail... just like a jockstrap, yes!

Still, the speedos for anthro characters (especially with a huge tail) would have to have some sort of button... to open and close it above the tail. Nothing else would work!

I know that a loincloth still works best!! ^____^
Just a small hint:
My next artwork won't feature a loincloth this time but Reptile's "light battle armor" again. The story continues and the heroes have a new fight ahead.
This artwork here is pure "fan service" - which is nice every now and then.

Also, that artwork with the white dragon (AND the loincloth) is my favourite artwork of all time... wow!

oh no worries about that, reptile is still cool with his battle armor and i am sure the picture will be nice ! i am happy enough you did one a few months ago too, it was indeed a pretty good art ! :3

The examples hardly qualify... have you seen REPTILE'S tail??? That is a huge thing, going down his spine and also being connected to his underbelly.

Well, I'm glad that you've got some time to draw Reptile! I guess you're happy about that too. The artwork itself is... good, yeah, much younger version of Reptile and I wonder how old is he here? His body looks much smaller in terms of muscles, but I like him anyway xD One of my favourite characters on FA!
And yeah, I want to join this discussion about his Speedo too. If we are talking about loincloth type, then I guess he would need some help in this case, it's like to сlasp a bra, but on his ass xD I just can't imagine him to tie a knot on his tail without any assistance.

Ah, a jockstrap, I guess? Yeah, that would fit him perfectly, especially with such a nice butt! Well, not only that, but it would also give him additional room for his tail. Good idea!

Well, in this artwork here (red speedo) there isn't a huge bulge... not really and nothing out of the ordinary.
You need to know what male reptilians do have some kind of sheath made of horn - and this sheath isn't flat underneath the belly... it is a bit bulged out.

On the other hand it is ALSO possible that... though his penis is usually inside his sheath... that... it's slowly peeking out every now and then.

I, too, like the idea of a Reptiile who's able to kick back and have some fun. I hope that even in his older years he's still able to relax and enjoy himself now and then.

Also... he always looks best in red and that's why I prefer simple and plain red!
