It's no secret that my health hasn't been the best of late. I try not to complain about it as there's no real point in doing so. *smirks* Some would say "it is what it is" but I've always found that axiom to be annoying and trite. *chuckles* "Really? Well, isn't that just enlightening. Is it now? As opposed to what, being what it isn't? *sighs and leans back in her chair, tilting her head in consideration* Maybe that's just me being a shred bitter about circumstances. I apologize.

I still look pretty good, I know. Hitting the gym more of late. My ass gets bigger and my knuckles get harder and I run further and do a few more sets on the bench.

Still, doesn't stop the near-constant hurting or any of the other things going on in this body. *shrugs* Regardless of what I eat or how I see to personal care... it's going the same way. Again- I'll never say "It is what it is." I think more along the lines of a quote from an old issue of X-men, oddly enough, during the original "Asgardian Wars" mini-series by Claremont. As wolverine put it "Never the goin'. Only how I go.". Just feels a bit more accurate to me, personally.

Even the title she chose was pretty much spot-on. Mi oscura, mi reina, mi rosa negra... madre de nuestros hijos- I love you, esposa.  Sanita_Squirrel You continue to inspire me, after all that we've been through. You just don't know. *kisses* I love you, baby.

This wasn't the image I originally had in mind- I'll admit. However, the lovely lassie herself managed to capture so much in her presentation, while still remaining evocative of the original source material, that I'm honestly just blown away. This is a very moving piece, love. Top marks to you. Just smashing.*applauds*
