One of the mixed media minis that I worked on during out travels to (and while at) Eurofurence last year! With this one I really enjoyed taking it to the next level by very delicately scraping into the layer of watercolor ground that I'd brushed onto the paper. That ground is responsible for a lot of the cool texture work, but by carefully scratching into it, I was able to include the crisp yellow lines which have a nice 3d relief effect.
Original sold.
2.5" x 3.5" mixed media on (probably) bristol with Daniel Smith Watercolor Ground.
