's handsome character, Adam. This was a challenge to draw, though it may not look it! I just wanted to push myself in terms of pose and color. Wanted to make it look just right, ya'nno? Even tried for better cloth lines and everything. *grins*
Not sure what's up with the orb... but this was inspired from "2001: Space Odyssey" So I tried to put a little of my feelings into the picture, as well as the general commissioner's directions.

I love pretty much everything Nightphaser has had done and this is no exception. He is utterly handsome though I have to admit, I almost thought it was Gorath in the small view. Damn us owls always looking so similar. Those fluffy claws are the best. I can't stop admiring them.
I don't know if you're looking for comments, but...
The folds all look similar, in size and shape. Different places will have different looking folds, depending on the forces that are acting on the cloth. Bunched and gathered, draped and loose, pulled and stretched, etc.
The feathers are just wonderful. I love the mottled look of his darker colours.
