So, on Twitter, Ruff'n'Tumble held a coloring contest. He provided a lineart of his OC Bobbi (in succubus form) and the idea was simple--color it however you like and he'll pick winners to give prizes to. I didn't win (there were some really excellent entries in there!) but I wanted to do a color scheme that was a bit different from most of what I was seeing, and it did end up being one of the more unique ones without being hard on the eyes. Left hair on the left side bugs me, and some other spots feel "flat" but overall I think there's some visible improvement. Actually, I put a lot more work into it than I'd meant to--I wasn't even really intending to do a serious entry and was just using it as an excuse to do some coloring.

I think not really sinking my teeth into coloring something for a while made this pretty satisfying, which is why I was able to crank it out despite my current art funk, which has me reconsidering my current approach to keeping active. We'll see what happens.
