Saw the trailers for the upcoming anime BNA, and decided I wanted an anime animal-girl OC of my own. A ferret one, with a big, inconvenient tail.

I don't really have much of a backstory for Sweeper. They were a young teenage human turned into a ferret Changeling, before returning to Earth as a half-human-half-ferret creature. That's about it.

I was considering maybe they were a boy before, but were transformed into a girl as well? So part of their journey in being a Changeling could involve them looking for a magical way to reclaim their manhood. I don't know - I feel like transmen don't get enough attention. And while Sweeper wouldn't come by their trans-ness the usual way, the dysphoria they'd feel with their female body, and their desire to change to be more masculine, would probably resonate with a lot of people.

On the other hand, I imagined Sweeper as cisfem the whole time I was commissioning them, and they certainly make for a very cute girl. So, I kinda want to keep them female? I don't know. Read them however you like, I guess.
