When it comes to the more estoeric powersets, one sometimes wonders just how Ran would present himself using them. Type: Bug specifically, as some people theorised he might gain insect traits, wings, a proboscis, something. Instead, it simply makes him more amiable and friendly to insects, as proven by his freely being able to gather honey under the eye of a local Vespiquen and her hive.
Type: Poison comes into play when he's finished gathering the honey and is taking it to the recipient, one pheromone-laden Salazzle in a rather toxic environment. Thankfully, the powerset allows Ran to essentially hazmat in there without any particular suffering and make the delivery - and demonstrate absolutely no compulsion to obey her pheromones, from the look on her face.
What a talented boy, disappointed client aside.
