Hard times aren't so bad
Pic made during yesterday's stream.
Another portrait of the family~
Kuhntee's not entirely a person with the best business sense,
and is often unable to hold a job to save his life.
In particularly hard times he finds himself falling into old tanuki habits.
(Those habits being, drinking heavily, and owing people lots of money)
He's good at taking care of his son Patchy tho,
so Kelly is often the one out with a job that actually makes the family any money,
while Kuhntee is left taking care of Patchy, having a daily adventure of failing to contribute anything of monetary value.
Patchy doesn't entirely appreciate being dragged along with his dad and often participating in his money making schemes, but he only does because mom said so.
I've always found myself wandering through thoughts and one I always land on is a timeline of events of the various jobs and occupations he's had.
And I've always wanted him to have been a teacher, literally only because it's been a long time kink thing,
BUT
I've also ALWAYS wanted him to end up as a cook, running his own business, to mirror his adoptive family.
Before I've never really found a way to ever link the two, or had any story reasons to explain his own reasons for changing his job.
WELL,
I've already stated that he's eaten someone's parents before

And I've mentioned interest in commissioning a story where Kuhntee gets teased into eating a teacher
(I can't find the link to the Twitter post. lol)
SO I've come to the conclusion Kuhntee would be a teacher before Patchy would be born.
This it would be a reason that he wouldn't have a job,
and the a big reason why they have trouble with the school when Patchy is old enough to go to the school.
Mainly he would be a deadbeat dad for most of his life until Kelly would eventually help him have the funds to create his dream job of being a cook and owning his own restaurant.
