"infection harpoon" a stat buff for allies (lyra making a cameo appearance for said ally), enemies are connected and their life force or batteries used to reduced incoming damage to stheno (I really like how they're just being dragged around like a meat sheild/battery, great choice by the artist and an interesting juxtaposition from the warframe this is based on). if this process does not kill the attached enemy they have a chance to mutate into a vampiric thrall and will use a similar method of attaching to their former allies to drain corruption that can be collected by stheno (or even allies under the effect of his buff). I think the size of the thrall is very exaggerated, and rather bulky (I was imagining something more dessicated), but it gets the concept across which is what is important here.
once again thanks to

nah that's always been a thing.
furry even did a whole somewhat lewd sequence where that happened on purpose, not just because they were the closest target (like here), and stheno also mutated a male target to make use of their power more effectively before he absorbed them in that sequence
ponyanony did. TBH this case it's less of a purposeful mutation, and more like once he releases his meat sheild/DR battery, if they survive there is a high chance of them mutating and becoming a creature that acts as a trap and drains their former comrades of energy much like stheno did to them. I imagine this chance goes up with his "power strength" stat.
If I remember what you asked me, I think you wanted to know about a possible distaff counter part to stheno and said I never really considered it.
