Bio: Marmite’s entire job is simply to keep his team members alive, especially his teammate Merlot. It’s tough to keep her from sticking anything that even remotely looks like food into her mouth. However if they all want to survive in this post-apocalyptic world, then they all have to work together and watch each other’s backs. Dealing with Mint is much easier. All he has to do is make sure he finds enough coffee beans to keep the bobcat happy and Mint more-or-less stays out of his hair. Marmite is stuffy, aloof and doesn’t like to show emotion if he can help it.

Marmite was 8 years old when the infection burst forth into their world and caused the great calamity that affected every way they functioned as a society. Dr. Lazarus released a plague upon the world that not only was highly contagious, but brought forth legions of the undead. Dr. Eggman and the Sonic crew were actually forced to call a truce in order to work together to try and find a cure for the world’s zombification. Not too long after the craziness began, Marmite lost a leg to one of the infected. He was nearly lost, but Eggman managed to save him and helped him with a prosthetic robotic leg. Other teams will often accuse him of being a suck-up to Dr. Eggman simply because he feels indebted to him for saving his life and continuously doing maintenance on his leg.
Team Meta is more often than not referred to as “Team Mediocre” by the other teams due to their inability to function as the others do. For the most part, Team Meta is one of the youngest teams with the least amount of tactical or technical skills. For this reason, they have been tasked primarily with search and recovery missions to bring back old bits of Eggman’s technology from his previous battles with Sonic. They are also in charge of reconnaissance in certain areas to make sure there aren’t any infected before other groups set up camps or bases there.
