Bio: While he is much smarter than he looks and is incredibly skilled with weapons (and to a degree some machinery), Mint has quite a lot of focus-issues due to Narcolepsy. Though he doesn’t fall asleep randomly, he always feels tired and out of it. When he actually does get the chance to sleep, he often has a hard time staying asleep. The only things that help him function are the coffee beans he eats straight from the pouch he always keeps on him. He prefers liquid coffee, but they never seem to have enough clean water to make the sheer amount he would have to drink in order to stay active and alert. He is sassy, clever, and very protective of his friends.

Mint was 8 years old when the infection burst forth into their world and caused the great calamity that affected every way they functioned as a society. Dr. Lazarus released a plague upon the world that not only was highly contagious, but brought forth legions of the undead. Dr. Eggman and the Sonic crew were actually forced to call a truce in order to work together to try and find a cure for the world’s zombification. Immediately upon the virus touching down in their town, Mint’s family went to all-out war with the infected. His father previously fought in the resistance against Dr. Eggman and Infinite, and his mother had been lost in the battle. His older bothers and sisters joined his father to try and keep their town safe, however half of them were wiped out in the process. To this day, Mint isn’t sure if any of them are still alive. Among the fray, he discovered his friend Merlot had been separated from her family. Unsure if it was safe to take her back to either of their homes, he ushered her into a safe place before the two of them stowed away with one of Dr. Eggman’s robots in order to get out of the town.
Team Meta is more often than not referred to as “Team Mediocre” by the other teams due to their inability to function as the others do. For the most part, Team Meta is one of the youngest teams with the least amount of tactical or technical skills. For this reason, they have been tasked primarily with search and recovery missions to bring back old bits of Eggman’s technology from his previous battles with Sonic. They are also in charge of reconnaissance in certain areas to make sure there aren’t any infected before other groups set up camps or bases there.
