Outlaws “Revrad” Armstrong
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 132 lb.
Age: 27.
Physical Appearance: Revrad is a grey-and-black-furred meerkat, the insides of his ears, his stomach fur, and his paw pads being black and the rest of him being grey. Atop his head is a shock of whitish-orange hair, the same color as his eyes, that flows to the left no matter which way he’s facing. He has bags under his eyes, and an average body type.
Clothing: Revrad, despite usually being nothing more than a voice behind a microphone, wears a simple dark grey graphic t-shirt of a boombox surrounded by fire with some slightly baggy black pants and black-and-grey sneakers. He wears his headphones with them tilted back, the arch resting on the back of his neck.
Personality: Outlaws is a pretty fine guy. When he was young, he was a delinquent thug who would break shit for fun, but nowadays he’s a lot more chill. He’s laid-back and likes to crack jokes while smoking a cigarette and drinking some coffee. However, he’s very politically motivated, and if you bring up politics around him, it’s almost like he turns into a completely different guy. He has a lot of strong opinions, and if you ask about them, he will let you know what they are. He tends to get caught up in things easily, but he’s really close to those he makes a real connection with. He is not musically gifted at all, but he has great diction and is a good talker.
Backstory: The Outlaws you see now is totally different from the guy he was as a teenager. As a teenager he was reckless, foolhardy, a delinquent who would deface property and knock over garbage cans with baseball bats for the hell of it. Even then, though, he had political ideas. Eventually, however, he ultimately felt that that kind of life is empty and unfulfilling, and turned to political activism as a means to give his life purpose. He started ‘Revolution Radio’, a radio show hosted by a character he played, named Revrad. The purpose of the program was to raise progressively-themed awareness about world news and currently pressing issues. It was during this time that he met his girlfriend, Youngblood. However, as people refused to listen to his broadcasts, he started to become distraught...that is, until a listener named Billie called in, delivering an impassioned speech about how he needs to start a revolution and make a change in this fucked-up world. This incited everyone in Outlaws’ city to take up arms and protest in the streets, the atmosphere escalating from firm, to empowered, to violently protesting against the world as a whole. Outlaws himself was bouncing his knee, feeling something spark within him. That teenage delinquent within him broke out as he got caught up in the movement around him, and he was on the verge of hurting a lot of people in a shooting before he remembered his roots, and why he took up political activism in the first place. His father was a teamster protestor and imparted words of wisdom onto the young Outlaws: Everything will be alright. Not every Sunday can be Easter, you know. Taking reckless, poorly-thought-out action too fast ends up hurting you and others around you. He shook himself out of his manic state and found solace in his girlfriend. He still keeps up the ‘Revolution Radio’ broadcast, but he doesn’t take listener calls anymore.
