I like the 4 because it looks more natural and real For me I think 3 toes works best with paws that are like this

It's an anthropomorphic animal person so there can be some creative license that is still "natural and real" enough for the setting. And I like drawing thicker toes, so three works out better for that.

I mean they don’t have to look entirely real but the 4 toes I think is the best looking because it feels more right for a creature that is more realistic looking than a toon :p

Weirdly enough, those barely look dirty to me !! 🙅🏼‍♂️ Cause I always thought those were his gorgeous Bugs Bunny style pads showing 🐰🐾😮👀

I've always envisioned him as being fairly short. But his slim build makes him seem taller.
And yes, spats on bare paws is an excellent look. Glad you appreciate it.

He looks pretty bulky for only 110 lbs! Or is it a height thing?

I've honestly never been able to figure out just how much he weighs. I know his height very well, but translating that to weight is difficult since he's not human. I figure that he's leaner and has more slender bones, so I leaned towards a lighter weight.

I get you, when I did that turnaround for you back on TR you gave me far more info but alas it is all gone now. T_T I got the impression that was more "statuesque" over slender.

I remember that one! I've always leaned more towards slender. Gracile. Lean but wiry.
