I wouldn't say that. But it takes a lot more effort than singular drawings, and even a different way of thinking about the drawings you're doing. Motion blur, simplifying/foreshortening in motion, etc. It's taxing but it can be very rewarding.

Though it is not only a different way of thinking but also a different way of presentation which can take quite a while to master/get used to. Your points are still completely valid however.

So long as you can get a final product which you enjoy, then yes, it most likely could be very rewarding. It just seems like quite a lot of effort to get a final product which is to a decent quality and presentation value.

It doesn't do that to me unless it's animating pixel art. Now that drains me thoroughly.
