Annabelle is a symbol of making the most of things. She was originally painted in 2018, liver chestnut with matching chicken wings. Unfortunately, when I got my dog a year later, she decided that feathers were THE thing to chew on, and poor Annabelle lost her wings and gained a few scuffs in her paint. Recently I decided to salvage her, since her base coat is this beautiful rich chocolate brown. So I repainted her points, mane and tail to black to make her a bay, and added white pinto patches to cover the paint damage. Finally, I gave her black wings from a free range rooster who had ended up as dinner a while back. Annabelle is reborn, and does she look great!
