WIP.
Zythe and Nessia enjoy a break from all thier 'ninja-ing' stuff, a nice hot bowl of real ramen omnom. >:3
Background is refferenced from a picture of my outdoor noodle bar in Second Life. As the last picture I posted, this takes place in the Rain Village. Good thing the noodle bar has a roof and canopy to keep thier customers dry in the constant rain of thier home village. x3
Will color tomorrow.

I've never had real ramen like that either, just the packaged stuff that I microwave. There is a big asian market by the mall up here and they do have small authentic restuants or stands there including a real noodle shop. I'mma have to save some money one of these days, maybe closer to July since I will be going to Otakon xD, and get a real bowl of ramen to get me even more so excited about the con. :O
Real ramen noodles are thick, heavy and nearly impossible to down in one gulp where I would traditionally try do so. How thick? Try noodles as easily thick as your own chopsticks you're picking them up with!
It's bad luck to break a noodle!
Any superstitious asian (like me) would tell you that but it's something totally different than anything I could describe-- my many trips to east and occasional west Los Angeles have hardened me as a veteran to the ramen mecca.

some places change the flavor palette according to the people who frequent. Like one shop that might have alot of white people come in will taste considerably different to that of a place that has asian regulars who come in-- it's something your tastes just adhere to unless you've been around tasting all sorts of things from a wide range of flavor spectrums-- so it might not have been the place, it might have just been that the flavors they use didn't quite agree with you and that's not entirely a bad thing, just a difference
anytime I go somewhere though, first thing that comes out of my mouth as I walk in, hands up, voice loud: "GIMME THE SPICIEST MOTHAEFF YOU GOT!"
about half of the occupants in the joint clear out from my spontaneous conjecture and the cooks are always like

Otakon!!! ;__; *makes grabby hands* Only been once, and loved it! And yeah, we don't really have any kind of authentic Asian restaurants here either, which is so sad. I mean, I think the closest we have to authentic Asian food are the Hibachi places, which are yummy but ... not quite the same, you know? If you ever get a bowl, take a picture cause I wanna seeeeeeee xD LOLOLOL
My fist and so far only was August 2008. Soooooo much fun ^_^ Lots of walking, not so fun xD But I got to see some awesome Ninja Cosplay costumes which was epic. Got to see JAM Project live, also epic. Wish we could go again. We WILL go again some day :D
And YAY! Noodle pictures!
