Yay for weenie roasts! I mean, yay for sailor roleplay! :D I'm sure it'll be fun sneaking on and getting the book for Noir's collection. And it'll be fun going against Captain Anisa again too! Bwoop woop!
I think you did a good job with the characters. Noir and Fuxie might have different personalities, but I can imagine them getting along like that at a bar-pub while discussing all the important happening. (: Everyone's roles here seem fitting, and now we know Sotelo and Hex's boat ride is gonna be a lo more exciting!

Hurray for everything being both fitting and falling into place. I don't know if Fuxie will ever truly enjoy working with Noir. However, so long as she pays in bagfuls of precious gems, I think she'll restrain herself from doing anything, uh, too scary.
Got a little special scene to put together before we get everyone on the boat. In it, I do believe a certain someone may come to realize that Noir is more than just the average, well-financed, book collector. I can't wait to see how well it plays out as, again, it will be a bit experimental in style. :)

Woot! Finally got a chance to sit down and read this on my day off.
Hehe, well I certainly worry for Sotelo and Hex now that the Q&A have been hired out against them. Especially considering that they have never failed a mission before! The whole scene in the bar actually felt like the beginning to one of the myriad pen and paper RPGs I've done in the past. I have no doubt that Fuxie will have no qualms about asserting her will over the two young travelers, especially since it's all just business but I wonder if the two of them will have something up their sleeves that may make things difficult for everyone's favorite mercenaries.
And then of course there's always Captain Anisa!

How true. And, after all these years, Captain Anisa has built up quite the grudge against The Quick and the Angry[/i]. Apparently, when one of her competitors is looking for an edge, they opt into hiring Fuxie and crew to slow down Anisa's operations. I wonder if, this time, her and Malin will finally be able to put an end to their espionage?
As for Sotelo and Hex, I do believe that they have a bit of a surprise up their sleeves for the cunning group. Though, figuring it out may end up putting Sotelo in a bit of an uncomfortable spot... :)
