The Toon Hour theme:
with inspired by The Jim Henson Hour Theme with alongside The Wonderful World of Disney, featuring some of all of these Disney, Looney Tunes, etc. cartoons in The opening begins with a shot of The Gryphon, who holds a crystal ball, The title then appears on-screen (with the ball seen inside the "O" of "Hour"), as some creatures (Marvin the Martian, a Smurf, an octopus, a frog, and a snail, and a sixth creature) observe the ball. A Smurf pops the ball, which causes a tornado to appear.

Inside this tornado are various characters from the show (and other Disney, Looney Tunes, etc. productions). This sequence includes Daffy Duck in a pot, Pepe Le Pew, Yosemite Sam and Elmer Fudd in their tugboat, Cinderella, Obelix in a cab, Popeye tossing a ring at Goofy, Donald Duck holding a balloon, Mickey Mouse holding a clapper board, Bugs Bunny holding and eating a carrot, Christopher Robin holding Winnie the Pooh, and a picture of Fantasia. The sequence ends with a shot of Disney, Looney Tunes, etc. entering the room in which he makes his introductions.
