Yay, it's done!
What began only as a quick muzzle sketch ended up being a full picture with background. I made the pencil sketch at the same time as I was adding color, definitely not recommendable unless you want to experiment with paint effects or just for fun. I was thinking later to make this scene as the werewolf was receiving the impact of a silver bullet on his left shoulder, but later decided not to add blood to this particular piece...
I began this only to test the possibilities of Paint tool sai. I discovered, for example, that it can not draw selection circles, so I drew the moon with a circular brush and then enlarged it. Despite some minor quirks it's an incredibly cool paint program and I'm going to use it from now on and leave photoshop only for the final stages of the process.
Thanks to everyone that watched me paint it live on Ustream!

I love the pose! very elegant. and its funny how you said you made the moon in SAI, i used the same technique to draw the full moon in one of my recent peices, lol. SAI is an awesome paint program, but my skill is not even a fraction of yours, I'm envious of your coloring and anatomy skills.
Hola! I'll answer in English just in case. Thanks, I'm glad you liked the picture; I could had gone with a smoother shading on the moon, but I just wanted to experiment a bit and decided to show the pencil strokes. Sai is very cool, I just wish that a new version incorporates "dab strokes with spacing" in a similar way that Photoshop do it's brushstrokes, but apart from that the program Is very useful and the configurable interface works better with my Cintiq than photoshop. Oh, and you are definitely better than me with cartoon style, I really like your attention to detail at clothing, I usually get lazy and draw mine nude XD. You are watched! Nos vemos.
jaja! muchos gracias! Pero mi espanol no es muy bien.
But I am trying to learn it (castellan) all over again. Im fairly new to the digital art scene. I've been a traditional artist for quite some time now and have gone through 2 Bamboo pads and a Intuos, (which I still use currently), in the past two years. I've found a good balance of traditional and digital application, but I just need to learn how to use all the features of a program like SAI or PS. Once I'm out of the military, I want to seriously devote more of my time to art.
