A short while ago, I posted this journal here on FA about hospitals posting tutorials online to make homemade reusable face masks.
I thought it looked fairly easy, so I decided to give it a go.
I also decided to go a bit beyond the tutorial; see, I had this bandana from some con swag a few years back. It's polyester, not cotton, but I thought it'd be neat to front the mask with it. A cotton handkerchief (photograph, above) was sacrificed to The Cause, and to the right is cotton flannel. The tutorial called for one layer.
I used two.

K-nifty. Funny thing, I just discovered that we had someone at the lab wearing a homemade facemask. Management made them take it off for bring out of dress code.
Did you just hear that scene from "Terminator2" when Edward Furlong said to the T800 "We aren't going to make it... Are we?"? I did. *sighs and goes to look for more Bailey's*
