Sergey Bondarenko era un asesino serial que para cubrir su rastro se unió al ejército. Durante su servicio en el ejército soviético aprovecho el estar en constante movimiento para cometer decenas de atrocidades tras la cortina de hierro. Finalmente fue descubierto y sentenciado a muerte, pero un directivo de la KGB vio en él un potencial especial. Usaron a Sergey como uno de los conejillos de indias para el proyecto de supe soldados de la unión soviética, siendo el lince uno de los pocos sobrevivientes.
Bordarenko desarrollo la capacidad de tele transportarse, dejando tras de sí una niebla oscura. Recibió el nombre código del Volga Negro, en referencia a la leyenda urbana de los autos que el gobierno usaba para secuestrar a las personas. Además en su traje tiene equipado un dispositivo que le permite rociar un agente neurotóxico. Sergey cometió toda gama de sabotajes, secuestros y asesinatos políticos, pero nuca dejo de lado su naturaleza de asesino en serie, ahora potenciado con sus nuevas habilidades
Entre las agencias de inteligencia, el Volga negro fue por muchos años, casi na leyenda urbana. Cuentos de terror que los espías se contaban unos a otros. Con la caída del bloque socialista la Unión soviética perdió el control de varios de sus proyectos, lo que permito que escapara Bondarenko.

Sergey Bondarenko was a serial killer who joined the army to cover his trail. During his service in the Soviet army, he took advantage of being in constant movement to commit dozens of atrocities behind the iron curtain. He was eventually discovered and sentenced to death, but a KGB official saw special potential in him. They used Sergey as one of the guinea pigs for the project of super soldiers of the Soviet Union, the lynx being one of the few survivors.
Bordarenko developed the ability to teleport, leaving behind a dark mist. He received the code name of the Black Volga, in reference to the urban legend of the cars that the government used to kidnap people. Also his suit is equipped a device that allows him to spray a neurotoxic agent. Sergey committed all sorts of sabotage, kidnapping and political assassinations, but he never neglected his serial killer nature, now powered by his new skills.
Among the intelligence agencies, the black Volga was for many years, almost an urban legend. Horror tales that spies told each other. With the fall of the socialist bloc the Soviet Union lost control of several of its projects, which allow Bondarenko to escape.
