Here is a picture of the crew at the one and only Dixie Diner in downtown Colmaton, California. Until a year ago, the restaurant was known as Junior’s Lunchbox but the owner couldn’t turn a profit and decided to sell. The Bureau of Superheroes of Colmaton, looking for another storefront that could serve as both a secret Bureau safehouse and a place to employ operatives in secular jobs, wanted to purchase and refurbish the place. The plan was for the restaurant to at best break even, but no one (not even the Bureau Director) could anticipate the Dixie Diner’s new found popularity. Some attribute the success to the exceptional food served, others to the very pretty waitresses who serve the food. Regardless of the reason, the Dixie Diner is now the ‘in’ place for casual sit down dining in Colmaton. So if you happen to be downtown and want some good Southern style home cooking for breakfast, lunch or supper, stop by the Dixie Diner!
The Staff (from left to right):
Boris Trotsky (Stretch Coyote): He’s the short order cook. Boris loves his work, he was once a famous chef at a major restaurant in Kiev before the accident that turned him into the rubber-bodied superhero. Boris adds his own special flare to everything he cooks, even such standards as burgers and grilled cheese are prepared with distinct care. His now famous chili is seasoned with a mix of Russian spices in it’s secret recipe. Having the ability to stretch in all directions is a big help to Boris in the kitchen, since he is the sole staff member who spends significant time there.
Donna Douglass (Doe Dynamo): The tallest waitress in the diner is also one their newest employees. Rather clumsy at first, Donna has now learned the fine art of waitressing well. As Doe Dynamo, her super strength and ability to make exploding orbs (dynamos) serves her in crime fighting but as a waitress, the lanky doe is learning patience and subtly. She’s very popular with many diner patrons although she does not take kindly to guys flirting with her (she prefers to flirt with THEM first).
Sally Smithers (Delta Dog): This sassy Jack Russell Terrier from Georgia was once a night club singer. After the event where her superpowers awakened, Sally joined the Bureau but was transferred to Colmaton. Wanting Sally to keep a low profile, the Bureau suggested she become a waitress rather than resume her singing career. Very friendly and sassy, Sally is by far the diner’s favorite with the customers. Sally fell in love with Boris at first sight, and eventually, the two became lovers. Delta Dog’s powers with fire and using her multi-purpose ‘Delta’ rays have to stay hidden during working hours.
Marsha Adams (Potpourri): This lynx-canine hybrid from the Falklands is the diner’s newest employee. She has to wear gloves at all times because of her powers, the ability to temporarily absorb/duplicate any superpowers/abilities/thoughts of anyone she touches. Although her official ‘cover’ is as a British student at Union University, Marsha was put to work at the diner mainly because of her previous experience working in a Pub on the Falklands. Marsha has added her own touches to the diner, including teaching Boris how to cook traditional British dishes such as Fish N’ Chips. In particular, families dining together at the diner are big fans of Marsha, mainly because of her small size and the fact that she is the least ‘alluring’ of the other waitresses (some wives can get jealous when their husbands stare too much at their servers).
Matilda Cody (Texas Tilly): This feisty bobcat from the Lone Star State is by far the most flamboyant waitress at the diner. Once a performer in an old time Wild West Show, Matilda does know how to entertain people. Often, her cybernetic horse Silver will come to the restaurant, but stays hidden in the back storeroom. Matilda is also a favorite with the diner’s patrons, known mainly for her speedy service as well as her good looks. It was Matilda who taught Boris how to prepare Tex-Mex specialties as well as chili. In emergencies, Matilda can take over at the grill for Boris.
These are the core staff of the Dixie Diner, but other Bureau operatives have ‘filled in’ at times there. Dr. Patricia Arnoe (Mystic Cat) has taken a few turns as a waitress (though she’s not very good at it). There will be other ‘guest’ servers appearing from time to time in the Dixie Diner. Since the place is turning a big profit now, it is important to keep it fully staffed.

Your welcome, its a decent picture but I personally like the information it provides given I have started to really read through your material and its nice to know some of the characters back grounds when you read about them. Also, I have completed reading your Rainbow Brite (A thousand Tears I commented on it on trains page) I story and I would like to know if there happen to be any more with that character or Thorndike (for that matter is there any images of the Steel Stallion armor it sounded great).
