Yeah that happens, unfortunately :( I do try to reply to comments as I get them, but it's easy to forget or miss some! And of course I remember you, you've been around for a while now! I always remember the people I see commenting and interacting regularly, and I definitely remember drawing one of your characters when I did free headshot sketches. I just looked back at those and I can't believe it's been four years already!

I don't expect to get a comment for every single thing I comment on, but it is very special that you are one of few who actually take the time to actually do that whenever you can.
And that is such a pleasant surprise, seeing as I have largely vanished from the internet itself.... there is a long story attached to why that is. :p Back to the original subject, I think I still have that picture somewhere; I appreciate you making that for me even if I don't remember exactly what it looks like. So I am happy you even made note of that as being the way you remembered me.
What I really wanted to do was commission you, but my Paypal account was banned for an unspecified reason; it is also one of many as to why I am not so active in this fandom anymore.
I don't expect to get a comment for every single thing I comment on, but it is very special that you are one of few who actually take the time to actually do that whenever you can.

I am still pleased with the fact you decided to keep it after all these years and it still makes you happy knowing it is something you made. Forgot the name of your old account and how long it was since I had watched you, but I have been around for some time... counting my old account, I was around for almost eight years.
This problem goes back a few years, almost as long ago as that time you made that picture for me. Had not done anything wrong as far as I am concerned, yet I did purchase a lot more furry art than I did in more recent years, despite having less money for it then. After it happened, I have tried sending off a few emails about the reason that I was banned, but in return I only got a very ambiguous statement about "violating their community standards." Never really got any explanation other than that, seeing my multiple letters have never been returned. Questioning if it's because of me purchasing furry art, or the fact I have a very unusual name they might perceive as fake. I do use my stepfather's old account as a backup (seeing as he let me take ownership of this one now) but sometimes it works and others it doesn't. I use it very minimally because I fear it may get banned too. Plus, it has his name on there and not mine so keep that in mind. :p
If I ever were to commission you, I wonder if you know how to/are able to draw a car as that is a legitimate question I have.

Oh yes, I actually do remember that name from somewhere... had to take a look back at it and see the resemblance to you now. Have to say your art still retains its original flavor but has become much better; I actually think you were around for a long period of time to improve this much. That is an even more pleasant detail to add in my journey of rediscovering your art.
My old account name used to be SpetsnazKaz (if you wanted to know) and the art I have posted on my current one is a selection of the best pictures I kept archived from it, so all of what I have here [now] is five years old or even more. :p
I definitely remember this happening to me like it was yesterday, despite it being four or even five years ago. And this was back when I used to commission way more furry art than I did in more recent years, despite having less money. Not trying to instill even more fear into you, but this is a real possibility and I got the most extreme part of it.
This may sound off-topic, but it is a contributing factor to my disappearance, but I wasn't exactly treated the nicest on the internet back then. Met a lot of fake friends who used me to get what they wanted and others who completely despised me based on idiotic rumors they heard about me. I was even scammed by several artists within close proximity to each other. So at the time, I was kind of happy my Paypal account was eliminated because I did not know who I could trust anymore. If I was going to commission an artist, it should be someone I trust who treats me like I am human. And I was even accused of being a scammer for having used three different names just so I can keep that account as well as having concerns for my private information knowing I did not want my real name out in the open to just anyone.
As per the subject of cars, I was about to give you the choice out of four that I had in mind for one that would be the easiest for you to draw. Also I am giving you the option to stylize the one of your choice, if that makes it easier on you because I am not looking for 100% realistic detail. Just as long as it resembles what it is supposed to be for the most part, then I am happy~

That's such a shame, I'm really sorry to hear that. I hope if you ever do try to commission someone again you don't have a similar experience, I don't know who could treat anyone that way!

Sorry for the super late reply, I don't know if you saw my last journal but we've had some super rough weather around here and things have been crazy. But as long as no more tornadoes pop up I should be around more regularly!

I never would have expected to leave such an impact on you despite having such a long disappearance... really it makes me happy knowing there is someone out there who sees me in a positive light.
Think you should know this too, is that in those years of absence I was more dedicated to finishing college and starting my career than participation in a community that [mostly] hated me, so now you see my reasons all form a triangle with how they affect one another.
Because of what happened to me (and the frequency of it happening again) it changed how I see the fandom for years to come and have lost so much respect for a great number of the artists in it; part of me wishes you could know what this hurt feels like yet I don't want you to actually experience it.
Like I have said in my previous response, is that you can choose to stylize it, just as long as it resembles it in the end. And you can take as much time as you need for planning, experimentation, and execution. Plus, I have a lot of reference pictures so you can get the right idea of how they are supposed to look. Need to finish my references for the characters that own them, and also some of the specific appearance of these cars (paint scheme, wheels, accessories, etc.)
You are in no rush or obligation to leave a response in such an immediate manner, for I appreciate you wanting to leave one at all. And as long as you, your family, and friends were all okay in this, I am happy. Wondering if you all have a safe place to stay.
