Crikey! We are looking at a rare beauty. This is one of the many colorful ribbon fairies. She must be collection thread so she can perform her magic. They believe that even with a small thread and her magic, she can make ribbon up to a half a mile. She may look small now, but that's for hiding she can change her size up to six inches. They like to wrap up people playfully and do it secretly. She doesn't seem very shy around us for some reason. I wonder why she's smiling....Oh no! O_O

Yup, she can either be six inches just the height of a dime. That's one of the many they sneek up on us.
They use their magic for making their clothing, camouflage, and sometimes they have to use it for self-defense against other creatures that may consider them as prey. Sometimes you may find a bird, spider, cat, or other animals wrapped up because of them. If you see that, you know it was only trying to protect itself.
Also the magic is used for healing in case someone gets hurt while they play. If someone gets cut they will quickly heal the wound and make sure their is no scar. They don't want people, they just want to have fun.
Anything else you would like to know?

The height of a dime standing on its edge, I assume? Dang, that would be hard to spot, though probably intimidating when looking up at a normal person. At least compared to 6 inches anyway. :)
Well, what kind of fun do they like to have? That is, would some things be more fun to do than other things, or does their kind of fun involve tricking people in some way after sneaking up on them, since they ARE sneaking up on people in the first place.

Yup,that's right. As tall as a dime on its edge. Besides wrapping people in ribbons, they like to see humans chase after what they call "The green paper" (money). In fact that's how they lure humans to their trap. They find money off of humans they wrap up and even know the value of some. They love $20 bills, because they are common and people love them more.
They love playing different games, but they would prefer to wrap people up in ribbons.
Theirs about six games I believe. I'll be happy to give you a list if you want.

Oh, clever! I know myself enough to know I'd probably fall for it too. A hundred makes you feel guilty, a single not really worth it, but a twenty is juuuuuust right! I suppose it might be difficult for a six inch person to manipulate a bill normally though, but having magic helps probably!
"Walking down the street, walking down the street! Hey, a twenty? Score! Hey, don't go down that alley! Come back here you littl-WAGH!" <-- That's what would happen to me. XD
Games? Sounds fun, so please tell me! I can't help but wonder if some of these games are done with humans as well too, but I'll voice these questions later.

Yeah they can make dollar bills from illussions, but it just doesn't have the same affect as a real one.
Daredevils:
They love seeing how good they can do things. Racing through meat eating plants, avoid being caught by a toad, seeing how long they can handle being in the clutches of a spider, how close they can get to a fan before being blown away, and other crazy things. Now if someone gets in a situation they can't handle, the other fairies who are watching come and help her out.
They also do this with humans. They try and see how close they can get without being noticed. They also try and see how big they can get. They keep records to see if anyone can beat it.
Pranks:
I forgot to mention that some actaully hate cats and love to pull pranks on them. Either to cats or Chahuahuas. They'll tie ribbons onto their tails and watching them try and get it off only to get wrapped up in it.
They also like tricking their fellow fairies, in fact that's how they practice. They pulls pranks on each other and see who can wrap them up the fastest. Some of the things that fairies love are dimes, quarters, ear-rings, keys and other things that have a shiny silver color. Oh they also love the small of honey, sugar, or anything sweet.
One of the worse pranks they do is with humans. They take a quarter and use their magic to stick it to the ground. So when someone tries to pick it up, they can't and frustrated. Another prank is when they take a ribbon and either camoflauge it or make it invisble; either way works. Anyways the wait to see someone walking, jogging etc. tie it from one side of the sidewalk to another. When the victim comes they don't see the ribbon and get tripped up by it.
If you haven't guessed already these are some of the ways they also wrap them up. Nasty little pranksters aren't they? lol

Oh, kinda like human games in the same vein, only from a smaller (or much, MUCH smaller) perspective. All of a sudden I got the image of a bunch of them discovering RC cars and holding races where one rides and one or more steer the cars. Heh!
I also suppose the kind of human can make it interesting too. Like a person who is better at taking in their surroundings is a bigger challenge than a person who could be easily distracted, or is not very observant.
I would suppose most pets could be seen as a threat at times, and other times just annoying, like alerting the owner about the tiny fairy that is in the room with them while trying to play a game. Not that they KNOW the fairy is there of course, but it doesn't help them.
I've never met a self-titled prankster that wasn't a little nasty, though with the things the fairies love I wonder if some clever humans haven't been able to turn the tide and play some pranks of their own on the pranksters? As I write this I think of a Tom & Jerry like scene playing out that goes back and forth between a human and fairy. Hee!

Yeah, pretty much.
I love that idea with the RC Cars. Not only them but could you imagine what would happen if they found G.I.Joes or Barbies? They would have way too much fun with action figures.
That and I would also say that the size of them may also make a difference as well. I mean it would take a longer time to wrap someone who is either fat or tall (no offense to anyone!).
Cats would probably notice them better than dogs anyways. Cats want to claw anything in their clutches. Dogs just want to sniff and lick. lol
Well I'm actaully trying to come up with an invention to catch these little critters but its not easy. They are pretty smart and can use their magic in tight spots. Also they never attack the same place twice.

Heh, G.I. Joes or Barbie figures might make good training at their smallest size. "Here, see how long it will take for the other teacher to tie up Shipwreck at her smallest." The only problem would be that they would run out of figures quickly cause those who tie them up might run off with them and forget to bring them back.
I suppose when they DO catch someone they shift bigger to get it done quicker, though they might stay smaller to taunt their catch. Hee.
True enough, though when a friendly dog takes notice of you they can get kinda pushy. That and if a dog the size of a house or an apartment complex licked you....ick. The slobber would be everywhere! And the dog breath smell!! ^.^
Still, I can't help but wonder if they would respect a fellow trickster that could trick them. Either that, or a prank war between the two would erupt. Both would be interesting scenarios though! Perhaps an experienced wizard who is bored and an overconfident young fairy who is dared to confront him. I assume there are some human magic users around, since there are fairies tricking people. :)

You have a good point about the G.I Joes and Barbies. lol
Some do like to taunt their catch, others may want to set records. Who knows what they think while wrapping?
If a dog walked up to you, what would you rather have be? Licked or bit? lol
I think that they would respect, but some would get frustrated and want revenge. Especially if its a wizard. However I don't think it would end well on the fairies behalf, going against a wizard and all. lol
