If there was one real hero in Sam Warren's life it was his brother Micheal. A skilled archer for as long as he knew him, little Sam watched his brother train day-after-day, win one competition after another, and slowly made his way up in the world; the possibility of competing in the Olympics in his future. After their parents death the two deer brothers only had each other and Sam did all he could to help his brother.

Sadly he was unaware that Micheal was not as ideal has he wanted to believe when Sam found out he had been taking drugs supplied to him by mob dealers. When time came for repayment Micheal could not pay and so the dealers had him killed right in front of Sam's eyes. Instead of fear however he was fueled with vengeance. Taking his brother's bow, and what skills he had from watching, Sam prepared himself for taking on the mob on his own as a vigilante. Thanks to the money Micheal had left him he customized his gear and trained to fight before taking to the streets.

As he fights through mob enforcers and criminals alike Sam, now know as "the Black Bow" continues his crime fighting through Saturn City all for the sake of justice; careful not to slip the line into vengence while seeking those who killed his beloved brother.
